A variety of clubs such as Eco club, Art & Craft, Culinary Club, Literary and Dramatics, Health and Wellness, Cyber Safety Club, Yuva Tourism Club, Anti Narcotic Club, Maths Club, Quiz Club, Sports Club etc., have been set up in the school in order to mould the students to be an interactive part of their social environment.
INTERACT CLUB AND MODEL UNITED NATIONS CLUB (MUN)
The Interact Club of Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School takes up various leadership programmes as well as programmes for social causes under the guidance of the parent club Rotary Club of Cochin Harbour. The Assisi Model United Nations equips the members with the proceedings of the UN general assembly and also helps to hone their leadership and communication skills. The various International programmes on the online platform are also taken up by the Interact club and AMUN to equip our students on the global platform.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME [(YLP)
The Youth Leadership Programme is organized by Assisi Toastmasters Club. The distinguished Toastmasters take various sessions for the students who enroll. The last session is a Grand Finale during which Table Topics and Speech Contests highlight the skills acquired by the students.
BALAJANASAKHYAM
Akhila Kerala Balajana Sakyam, Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School Branch, is fully functional in the school. This is an initiative of the popular Daily Newspaper, Malayala Manorama. New office bearers are inducted every year, giving students opportunities for honing leadership skills. A theme is followed every year and eminent personalities give talks and conduct awareness programmes for students. Our students participate in the various literary and cultural programmes organized by the Sakhyam.
PRE-VOCATIONAL TRAINING @ ASSISI
Assisi offers Pre-vocational Training to the students of Classes VI-IX & XI in the disciplines of Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry and Gardening. This was done as part of the Bagless Day activities of the school. The students gained hands-on experience in basic activities related to the aforementioned skills.
