October 4 1993	Foundation Stone of Assisi Vidyaniketan laid by Most Rev. Dr. Cornelius Elenjikal, Archbishop of Verapoly.
June 1994	Classes I to VI of Assisi Vidyaniketan start functioning with a total of 277 students
August 1995	No Objection Certificate received from Education Dept., Govt. of Kerala.
June 1996	The C. B. S. E. Board granted Affiliation for the School and permission to start Class VIII and prepare students for the Class X Board Exam.
July 1998	First School Magazine released by Most Rev.Dr.Daniel Acharuparambil.
January 1999	Library and Science Laboratories were upgraded with capacity of starting Plus Two.
March 1999	The 1st Batch of 20 students appear for the C.B.S.E., A. I. S. S. E examination and come out with flying colours.
28 June 1999	Senior Secondary Classes begin with sanction from the C. B. S. E. Board with both Science and Commerce streams.
June 2000	Classes I to IV of the Primary Classes are shifted to a new block, the Primary Annexe, a self-sufficient block with separate Staff Room, Library etc.
October 2000	An Indoor Basket Ball cum Volley Ball Court is set up along with Sports room, etc.
November 2000	The Computer Laboratory upgraded with the intention of introducing Intel’s Teach to the Future Programme in the School with training for the Staff.
December 2000	The first batch of teachers are trained to incorporate technology into class room teaching. Successive batches of training follow.
23 December 2000	New Chapel blessed by Most Rev.Dr.Daniel Acharuparambil.
June 2001	An Audio-Visual Room cum Recording Studio complete with LCD and OH Projectors and modern technology for Recording begins to function. The Office systems are completely computerized.
September 2001	The Computer Lab is further expanded and upgraded.
26 January 2002	A Multi-Gym with separate facilities for Girls and boys and an Indoor Basket ball-cum-Volley ball court is set up in the School and inaugurated by the Minister Prof K.V.Thomas. Patron,Archbishop of Verapoly,Most Rev.Dr.Daniel Acharuparambil laid the Foundation Stone for swimming pool.
May 2002	Entire Assisi staff completes basic computer skills training by INTEL.
November 2002	Swimming Pool was inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr. Daniel Acharuparambil
November 2002	The entire teaching staff is trained to incorporate technology into class room through “Intel’s Teach to the Future Programme.”
February 2003	Rotary Inter Act Club sponsored by Rotary Club Cochin Down Town is formally inaugurated
April 2003	A summer Camp organized in the school with a vast variety of activities including,Swimming,Gym,Sports and Games campus,Calligraphy,Music,Art & Horse riding.
June 2003	A branch of the School set up and begins functioning at Perumpilly,Vypin,with classes from LKG to Class VI.
June 2003	Life Skills and Career Guidance Department setup in the School headed by Mrs.Lakshmi Sreekumar.
August 2003	Founder Director ,Rev.Dr.Francis Kannichal retries and Rt.Rev.Msgr.Sebastian Luiz appointed Director and Very Rev.Fr.Varghese Valiyaparambil appointed Acting Director.
September 2003	Blessing of the new Primary Annexe B Building and the second Swimming Pool(set up exclusively for Girls),by Archbishop.
December 2003	Career Fair organized in the School for the first time.
14 February 2004	Inauguration of Kiddies park in the Assisi Campus.
3 July 2004	The ASSISI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION set up.
September 2004	The Archbishop Joseph Attipetty Inter – School Shuttle Badminton Tournament initiated
October 2004	The “Assisi Cup” Inter School Football Tournament initiated by the Assisi Alumni Association
June 2005	Maths lab Set up – begins to function.
June 2005	Language lab set up to acilitate English Language teaching.
September 2005	Archbishop Joseph Attipetty memorial Inter-School Shuttle Badminton Tournament instituted for the first time.
October 2005	“Assisi Cup” Inter school Football Tournament instituted by the Assisi Alumini Association.
November 2005	A free Medical Camp conducted by the Rotary Interact Club members is a huge success
June 2006	Introduced NIIT Syllabus for computer education.
2006 – 07	Assisi is one of the first Schools in the State to implement the CBSE Adolescent Education Programme. Mrs. Lakshmi Sreekumar becomes a Master Trainer under CBSE
2007	A Physical Fitness and Wellness Training Programme for Physical Education Teachers, one of the first of its kind, was organized by the Physical Education Department of the School for physical education teachers of CBSE School in the District
December 2007	Assisi organizes a two day all Kerala Science Teachers’ Orientation Programme on behalf of CBSE Delhi. It was led by Sri. R. P. Sharma, CBSE Educational Officer, Science, from CBSE, Delhi .
Jan 2008	EduComp digital Smart Class was introduced.
Jan 2008	School gets ISO Certification
Nov 2008	New Director, Rev. Fr. Johnson D'Cunha takes charges.
August 2009	First batch of YLP (Youth Leadership Programme) of Toast Masters International completed in the School
Jan 2010	Hon’ble CBSE Chairman, Sri. Vineet Joshi , IAS & Academic Director Dr. Sadhana Parashar visit the School as part of the All Kerala Orientation Programme for Principals and Parents after the introduction of CCE system in CBSE. 650 persons from over 300 Schools attended the Programme organized at the School under the aegis of the Confederation of Kerala Sahodayas

2010	Assisi Socio Span - Social Community Outreach Club is established at Assisi aiming at arousing social commitment and leadership in students

2011	“SNEHASPARSHAM” a project was initiated aiming at raising funds through Charity Fetes and other drives to support Special School Children in the District with “AVAZ” tabs and other aids such as Teaching - Learning equipment and Hearing Aids, etc. Six Special Schools in Ernakulam benefitted through the Project
2012	CBSE SOUTH ZONE Badminton Tournament was conducted. Participants from 4 South Indian States attended the Tournament - 750 players, 180 officials and 119 Schools participated in the 4 day event.
2013	A Senior Secondary Block - a 3 storeyed building with class rooms, labs, canteen and Conference Hall started functioning in full swing.
2013	Naadanruchi@Assisi - a novel project initiated by Class X students and supported by all staff and students served a dual purpose : Collection of Funds for Adivasi Children of Wayanad and also promoting the traditional Kerala cuisine with all its healthy and nutritious values to new gen students.
2014	CBSE SOUTH ZONE Badminton Tournament was again conducted at Assisi. Keeping alive a previously exciting experience participants poured in from the 4 South Indian States attended the Tournament - 741 players, 350 officials and 125 Schools participated in the 4 day event.
2014	Hon’ble CBSE Chairman, Sri. Vineet Joshi , IAS & Academic Director Dr. Sadhana Parashar visited the School a second time, this time to orient CBSE School Teachers on the CCE system in CBSE. The programme was conducted under the aegis of the Kerala CBSE Schools Management Association
2014	Very Rev. Fr. Mathew Kallinkal takes charge as Director of Assisi Vidyaniketan Institutions
2015	“Haritha Darshanam” - the Project highlighted organic farming of vegetables and fruits and inspired students and their families to adopt small scale farming for their family needs. An exhibition was conducted the proceeds of which were used for charity.
2015	“Go Green” - Cycle Rally by students from Kakkanad to Alapuzha aimed at highlighting and educating students about being environment friendly. The students visited schools on the way and gave presentations and demonstrations.
2016	A new modern Administrative Block is set up with Reception, Office Rooms, etc. to make administrative functioning more efficient. A new Staff Room capable of housing almost 75 Teachers is also made ready.
2016	Assisi stressed on Empowerment of the Girl Child. Mass Self -defence classes (Karate)were given to girl students from Classes VI to XII to instil in them self-confidence and leadership
2016	CBSE South Zone Girls’ Football Tournament was conducted at Assisi School. 30 teams from across 5 States participated in the Under 17 and Under 19 categories. Matches were conducted at three venues.
2016	The Ernakulam District CBSE Kalotsav Group Items are held at Assisi School.

2018 - 2019	Assisi School celebrates its SILVER JUBILEE YEAR Special Competitions are held as part of the Jubilee Celebrations. Reeling from the after-math of the Floods the Management decides not to have very elaborate celebrations but instead diverts the resources for Flood Relief Activities
