From humble beginnings approximately 31 years ago, Assisi has grown into a thriving community of more than 3,100 students and their families. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and shared vision of everyone involved.
Recently, Assisi completed the final stage of its infrastructure development with the renovation of Annexe B. Today, we are blessed with enhanced facilities and amenities—thanks to the visionary leadership and unwavering commitment of our Director, Rev. Dr. George Mathirappilly, ably supported by our Associate Director, Rev. Fr. Marydas Kochery.
Our dedicated teaching community is well-equipped and continually updated to inspire students, helping them reach new heights by developing 21st-century skills and fostering a love of learning.
Theme of the Year 2025-2026: STEAM Education
“Building Solutions And Bridging Hearts Through STEAM Education.”
STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics—a forward-thinking approach that prepares learners for the challenges of tomorrow.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Museum of the Future in Dubai, UAE. This one-of-a-kind museum explores the future of science, technology, and innovation. It is housed in a torus-shaped building, with windows forming Arabic poetry about the future—making it the only museum that looks forward rather than backward.
The exhibits, all envisioned to exist by the year 2071, promote innovation, particularly in fields like robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). The façade features quotes from Dubai’s ruler that reflect a deep vision for the future. For instance:
“We won’t live for hundreds of years, but the products of our creativity can leave a legacy long after we are gone.”
“The future will be for those who will be able to imagine, design, and build it. The future does not wait; it can be designed and built today.”
“The secret of the renewal of life, the development of civilization, and the progress of humanity is in one word: innovation.”

Wisdom and Values
As we reflect on the journey ahead, let me share a thought from Bertrand Russell, who in his autobiography wrote:
“A good life is inspired by love and guided by knowledge.”
The Conquest of Happiness,
Similarly, Christian piety had this merit: it made even the humble feel the dignity of being a child of God and gave value to the most humdrum existence by making it part of a divine plan.
In Hope, the autobiography of Pope Francis, he reminds us of the core value of Christianity:
“Love your neighbour as yourself.”
Christian piety is grounded in three powerful words:
Gratitude (“Thank you”), Repentance (“Sorry”), and Forgiveness.
